My Journey

Tracing the path from the beginning to where I am today.

Hello!

I’m Khushbinder Layal, a Counselling Psychologist. I’ve been in the field with significant experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families across different age groups. Since 2018, they have been engaged in mental health advocacy and training. Over the past two years, they have worked with clients in diverse settings such as schools and hospitals, shaping my approach to be more inclusive.

At Psychfullness, I aim to help those who need support with their mental health.

My Approach

I believe that each client is unique and only some approaches to therapy work for everyone. My approach is very eclectic. I like to incorporate different techniques from different methodologies depending on what’s a comfortable process for you!

Psychfullness offers individual, group, and couple counseling utilizing various therapeutic approaches like CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness techniques. With a focus on creating a secure and nonjudgmental environment, clients are encouraged to explore their thoughts and emotions, fostering self-awareness and resilience. Dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, the goal is to assist clients in overcoming challenges, enhancing coping mechanisms, and leading fulfilling lives.

About me

My dream

My journey towards becoming a psychologist started in school. Growing up I saw the impact of unaddressed mental health issues. Despite challenges and societal stigma, I pursued psychology to address these issues.

As a psychologist, this journey led me to establish Psychfullness, where everyone is welcome, no problem is too small, and seeking help is celebrated, not shamed.

Remember, Nothing can replace the power of therapy, and seeking help shouldn't carry shame, it's our vulnerability that truly defines us.

Career:

I have had the privilege of studying Psychology for 5 years. I was interested in it due to my personal experiences.

I studied Psychology and completed my Bachelor's in Psychology Honours (SNDT University, Mumbai), and
